People involved in Islam adhere to this description:
"Islam: Islam is the monotheistic religion articulated by the Qur’an, a text considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of God, and by the teachings and normative example (called the Sunnah and Hadith) of Muhammad, the last Prophet of Islam. The word Islam means 'submission to God', and an adherent of Islam is called a Muslim."
Christians believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God which basically means that it is without error of any kind. We as humans may have a difficult time grasping some of the deeper nuggets buried in the Bible but that dose not mean something is untrue. Neither does denying anything (or everything) in the Bible in an attempt to justify one's own belief in Islam. As is told to us in the Book of Matthew, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." The cult of Islam appears to be a wide gate as mentioned in Matthew.
