Atheism/Evolution

Premise - from an Atheistic Perspective

• The universe exists.
• The universe has principles and laws inherent in its properties of matter, energy flow, chemical reaction, etc.
  1. Any derivative principles based upon the laws must be consistent with the inherent laws.
• These inherent, natural laws cannot be violated.
  1. Any apparent violation of these laws is only a display of our lack of understanding of all the laws and is consistent with more complex inherent laws.
• Life is the product of these inherent natural laws of the universe.
  1. That is, due to the properties of matter and energy, life necessarily arose since we exist.
• Life can only develop in harmony with the natural laws in the universe.
• Life is limited to and governed by these inherent principles since life is a product of the inherent laws and cannot violate them.
• Therefore,
  1. Human existence, thoughts, feelings, etc., are merely the end result of the inherent universal laws and principles of matter, energy flow, chemical reaction, etc. that has resulted in life.

Evolution

The concept of evolution was a leading factor in bringing about the present apostasy. Evolution is rooted in occultism and cannot be integrated into Christianity. It is truly revealing the anti Christian thinking of the Papacy allowing evolution to be taught in parochial schools. Evolution and creation are opposites and to try to think that both are true will literally blow people's minds according to George Orwell. The mind cannot comprehend two opposites. According to the teachings of the Bible, God created the universe literally.

Looking at human beings, animals, plants, and minerals it is impossible to think that they are here by accidental occurrences over time progressing forevermore. They would have to evolve to an even higher being if that were true. Exponentially it is impossible that a human being has come about by a series of accidents. It does not make sense whatsoever. There is no evidence that backs up this theory. What is presented as evidence has been disproven.  All one has to do is to look at the tremendous variety of flowers for example and the beauty and perfection of each group to see that there is nothing haphazard about them. Accidents would mean many imperfections. Evolution is based on a complete lie.

Mormonism

The Mormon church (LDS) is organized so that one prophet leads the church. Beneath the prophet in authority is the Council of the Twelve Apostles. A third group of men are called the First and Second Councils of the Seventy. All of these men together are called the General Authorities. Local churches are called Wards or Stake Centers and meet for worship in what the Mormons call "meetinghouses." The Temples are not for worship, but are used for ceremonies for the living and the dead. Less than ten percent of all LDS members are allowed to enter these structures.

WHY THE CENSORSHIP?

Increased exposure to an idea improves the likelihood of its acceptance. A primary reason why some form of evolution is accepted by about half of the American population is because of the high level of public exposure that this belief receives in public schools and also on television, in magazines and elsewhere.(4) Of 38 individuals interviewed as to why they accepted evolution, Bergman (5) found that all but three had very limited knowledge about the theory. Most had simply assumed from their cultural exposure that the theory has been empirically demonstrated to be true. The theory of naturalistic evolution is most often not directly, but more often subtly, taught and assumed in textbooks to be an accurate view of reality. It is in this way that students learn about the theory, not by careful evaluation of the empirical evidence and logic for and against it. As Eidsmoe notes:

'In public schools, evolutionary naturalism is commonly taught as fact. Zoos, museums, cultural exhibits and national parks proclaim the evolution of life and rigid uniformitarian geology. Despite pious claims of neutrality and equal access, public television presents Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" along with other evolutionary programs, while ignoring the other side. The public is bombarded with evolutionary thought wherever they turn--much of it at the taxpayers' expense.(6)

A major reason for this one-sided differential exposure that exists in the secular world is that pro-creationist materials and information are heavily censored from the public domain.(7-10) If it is discussed, the discussion is not uncommonly limited to a polemical diatribe littered with ad-hominem arguments. Anti-creationists rarely define the term creation, thus it is not easy to know who they dislike. They use much name-calling and value laden words such as pseudo-science, religious, or Bible-thumpers. The problem of blatant censorship of pro-creationist material is worldwide in its extent and effect.
