Dear Co-laborers to the Kingdom,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." How true! If we had the cure for a deadly disease, and a friend was dying of that disease, what kind of friend would we be if we never gave them the cure? This world has been infected with the deadliest disease of all - sin (Matthew 10:28). We have the cure - the blood of Jesus. May we be faithful ambassadors for our KING!
This past month has been an exciting one. As we mentioned in our January newsletter, we went out west for Christmas to see family. While there, we were able to train a group of believers at my brother and sister-in-law's Bible study. They called us recently to tell us that as a result of the training, a couple of ladies practiced and have started to share their faith! They were scared, yet their love for their Savior superceded their fear of man. I’m so proud of them. A spark has ignated and is beginning to spread. May it turn into a raging inferno!
In the month of January:
- The LORD allowed us to train inmates at the 33rd Street jail in using the Wordless Book and the Evangecube. These are great witnessing tools. At the conclusion of the training, we gave an invitation and two of the men realized they were lost and accepted Jesus as their Savior!
- Dr. Robert White (my mentor, friend, and on the board of advisors to this ministry) recently conducted a revival meeting at the First Baptist Church of Newberry and had the joy of seeing 13 people surrender their lives to Jesus Christ! Dr. White and I have traveled together on several mission trips in the past to train pastors, preach and teach.
Please pray for GOD's guidance regarding these request's:
- An invition to go to India April 27 - May 15 with Mission Commission.
- Open doors to train many churches.
- The response to the radio broadcasts, although wonderful, has been limited. We’re looking at other possible markets.
- We’ve started to teach a Bible study on Thursday nights in Clermont and love it! Please pray for changed lives.
- Updating the workbook.
- We’re looking for someone who can help us get the training on DVD. It’s always been our dream to have a user-friendly training kit available.
