Dear Partners in Ministry,
IN A MOMENT, without warning, a terrible tsunami shocked the world and brought death, despair, and destruction. May we, as ambassadors for Jesus Christ, join forces and be a tsunami of life, hope, and light to a lost world groping in darkness. May our hearts beat as one with our Lord to reach this hurting world!
Thank you so much for your endless prayers, encouragement, and support. The Lord is doing incredible things (Ephesians 3:20). We wanted to update you on a few of the things that HE has done this past month. Because of your faithful prayers and sacrificial giving, the Lord is doing great things and opening many doors.
Some of what He has done follows:
- HE answered our prayers and provided two more wonderful servants of the Lord to assist in the graphic design of the brochures, etc. (Thanks, Jon and Earline!)
- Many are being reached at 33rd Street Jail. We now have another worker who will be ready to start sharing the Word by the end of January. (Welcome, Keith!)
- On December 28, HE allowed us to be the co-host with Lee Brandell on WTLN 950. We talked from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. about the importance of evangelism in the life of the believer. There were two people desiring to be trained that contacted us via the website as a result of the program. One of them wrote, “Hi, Dave! I am interested in evangelism training for myself. I heard you on WTLN and decided to email you. I take seriously Jesus’ command to go forth, but feel so inadequate. I would be very interested in your January classes. Please send the information to me. God bless. Terry”
- We had a contact from the state of Washington who is interested in the ministry.
- More partners have joined the ministry.
- The Lord has provided a wonderful man of God to train us how to use our home office as a recording studio (Thanks, John!)
- The website is continuously being updated, improved, and put on more search engines. More and more are contacting us. (Thanks, Floyd!)
- Many one-minute radio spots have been produced, and we’re praying for the Lord’s finances and God’s timing to have these aired. This will be a beginning step leading to the radio ministry.
- Because of your faithfulness this past month, there were a total of 22 people that received Jesus as their Savior (Psalm 118:23).
We long for your prayers, especially in these specific areas:
- That the Lord will prepare the hearts and anoint the upcoming trainings at Southside Baptist Church in February and Kingsway Baptist Church in March.
- That the Lord will supernaturally provide the funds for the radio programs.
- That HE will continue to open many more doors for trainings.
- That God’s hand will continue to be upon this ministry, that HE will anoint it with the power, fire and passion of the Holy Spirit from above (Isaiah 64:1), and give us the much needed wisdom.
- That HE will enlarge our territory and raise up more prayer, financial, and working partners at ETI.
- That the mass mail-out to the many pastors and churches in west Florida informing them of E.T.I. will be received with open hearts, that the Lord will prepare their hearts, and that multitudes of churches will be trained as a result. We’re aiming for a March mail-out.
- That the Lord will give us much needed wisdom and direction (James 1:5).
THANK YOU for being part of this ministry! You are precious to us and so desperately needed. The Lord greatly has used each of you this past year to establish a strong foundation at ETI. We are a team, a family, devoted to the common cause of building our Lord’s Kingdom. Many souls have been impacted because of you. Yet, this is just the beginning! Goals are set, the vision is great, the time is short, the fields are white! We are focused, resolved, and passionate for the cause of Christ! We are warriors whose mission is the Great Commission! May we consider the cost, never waver, until the last Christian is trained and the last lost person on earth is won to Jesus Christ. “For such a time as this,” we were placed upon the earth to hear the voice of God and do His will in reaching this world.
We love each and every one of you so much! You’re SUCH a blessing and encouragement to us. Please let us know how we can pray for you.
