Dear Partners in Ministry,

Hudson Taylor (the missionary who really opened-up China) said,
“Many Christians estimate difficulties in the light of their own resources, and thus they attempt very little, and they always fail.  All giants have been weak men who did great things for GOD, because they reckoned on HIS POWER and HIS PRESENCE to be with them.”   May you and I let the size of our God determine the size of our goals!

Wow!  What an exciting and busy month this has been.  Thank you so much for your endless prayers, encouragement, and support.  The Lord is doing incredible things!  We wanted to update you on a few of the things that He has done this past month:

  • PTL!  We received our first contact on the website from Johannesburg, South Africa.  The individual wrote, I would like you to train me, then I can be able to train others.  There is a great need in my church for people with evangelism gifting.”
  • Several churches in the area are contacting us and are interested in trainings.
  • We sent workbooks to a faithful pastor in Ohio to assist in training the youth.
  • We were able to preach Sunday a.m./p.m. at FBC-Apopka throughout the entire month of June. Souls were saved, encouraged, and it was SUCH a blessing.
  • We were able to preach to the youth at the LORD’s gym in Clermont.
  • The LORD is moving powerfully at 33rd Street jail on Monday nights. Many are being reached for Christ. We’re building a core group and will soon begin evangelism training.
  • We continue to assist FBC-Apopka with their visitation.
  • The Lord has brought us more team members, partners, workers, trainers, and sponsors.
  • Through your prayers and sacrificial giving, 59 individuals accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior in June (1 Corinthians 1:31; Psalm 126:3).
  • The training workbook has been sent to a Russian interpreter friend in Wisconsin. Please pray as he translates the workbook into the Russian language. This will be our fourth translation.
  • The greatest highlight of this month was our precious son, Josiah, asking Jesus into his life!  He is so excited about being saved, and loves his Savior.

Special needs are:

  • More assistants to help pre-mark New Testaments for trainings.
  • Volunteers able to do the graphic layout for brochures and the newsletter.
  • Individuals who desire to become trainers  (evangelism training seminars, discipleship training seminars, and apologetics).
  • A bookkeeper.

Please pray for:

  • Upcoming trainings at two (possibly three) local churches in the month of July.

If you (or others) would be interested in attending any of these trainings, please don’t hesitate to contact us for times, locations, and dates.

  • God’s anointing.
  • Open-doors of opportunity to train in more churches.
  • More prayer partners and financial partners.
  • Workers.
  • Wisdom.
  • A possible future trip to Africa.
  • Financial provisions pertaining to enrolling Caleb in a Christian school.
  • Open-doors for the radio broadcast and financial support.

We love and appreciate each and every one of you more than you know!  It is such a joy serving the Lord together with you and being “laborers together with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9).  If you have not already become partners with this ministry, we encourage you to prayerfully consider doing so.  Please let us know how we can pray for you or serve you in any way.

Your servants and co-laborers in Jesus,

Dave, Linda, Caleb, Micah, Josiah and Grace Hook
(Proverbs 3:5-6; Hebrews 6:10; Jude 24-25)
