Dear Co-laborers for the Kingdom,
John Wesley once said, "You have nothing to do but to save souls. Therefore, spend and be spent in this work. And go not only to those that need you, but to those that need you most . . . it is not your business to preach so many times, and to take care of this or that society; but to save as many souls as you can; to bring as many sinners as you possibly can to repentance." Yes! While preaching at the jail a few days ago, one inmate brought to the church service his roomate who was a Jehovah Witness. Another inmate brought his roomate who was a homosexual. At the end of the message, an invitation was given and both the Jehovah Witness and the homosexual raised their hands indicating that they had accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior! I wish so much that you could have been there. The inmates really look forward to our visits. From training these men to be witnesses to hearing messages of repentance and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ, these men are very open. Almost every week after the preaching, many men come up and thank me, hug me, tell me that they love me. Oh, how we need to share the message of hope to a lost and dying world!
This past month, people from across the globe continued to download from our website the audio training and the workbook. It is so exciting to know people across the globe are getting trained.
Although it has been a rewarding experience, because of limited financial resources, we have decided to put the radio broadcasts temporarily on hold. We would like to look in to pursuing other markets that could bring more response to fulfill the vision of ETI.
Please pray
Last year we went down to Southside Baptist Church in Ft. Pierce, Florida to train a group of summer missionaries going to Jamaica. We have been invited back, and should be going there soon.
* We have been invited to train a church in Punta Gorda and are waiting for a response from them.
* We are pursuing God’s direction and provisions regarding an open door to possibly train a multitude of pastors in India.
* We ask for continual wisdom in guiding our family to maturity in Christ and for the supplying of family needs.
* We ask the LORD for financial provisions for our family, future vision, and future goals for the ministry.
* Our Thursday evening Bible study is a blast and keeps growing!
* A lost Jehovah Witness is dying and desperately needs Jesus.
Thank you so much for your support. THANK YOU for being a part of this ministry. We love and appreciate each and every one of you!
One closing thought: “When you fish for fish, you catch something alive that’s going to die. When you fish for men, you catch something dead that’s going to live.” Keep fishing (Matthew 4:19; Galatians 6:9; 1 Corinthians 15:58)!
Your friend and co-laborer in Jesus,
Dave Hook
