Praise GOD, it’s complete! The evangelism training is now on our website and is up and running! Pastors, church leaders and Christians around the globe can download the workbook and condensed audio training and learn how to be a witnesses for free! We are already hearing from Christians around the globe who are downloading the material. Just a couple of days ago we received this email from a pastor in India:
I am the director of Pioneer Ministries which is involved in training pastors for the ministry, as well as actively being involved in church planting ministry for the past fourteen years in the region of South India. I am also a Pastor and in charge of a Bible college. I am interested in attending any one of your seminars. I went through your web and feel the Lord leading me to attend your training on evangelism. Isn’t this wonderful? It’s all because of the LORD and you partnering with this ministry. It’s so exciting to see God’s plans and purposes unfold for this ministry! My heart has always been burdened for training foreign pastors and reaching their people for Christ. It ignites a fire in my heart when we receive emails from needy pastors, and the invitations keep pouring in!
What a busy month it has been!
- The radio broadcast continues to go out in four states, and the saints are being trained and encouraged in evangelism and apologetics. Although we've had numerous contacts from our Augusta station, some of the other stations are limited, and we're considering changing listening markets. Please pray with us regarding this decision.
- We've begun to train approximately 25 inmates in the Christian dorm at the 33rd Street jail. They are very excited. Praise our Wonderful Savior! Three men who came to learn how to be a witness actually realized that they were lost, and gave their lives to Jesus Christ!
- As stated earlier, the training is now on our website. In addition to that, we have downloadable teaching material on numerous other topics (Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.). Check it out!
Please pray for a precious pastor and brother in Nepal. He desires that we train many pastors there. His recent email to me on 11/11/05 said:
Dear Rev. Dave Hook,
Greetings from Nepal. Recently, security forces shot down some Maoist rebels in two villages where we have also planned for "Local Evangelism Crusade" and "House to House Evangelism" programs. Now, Maoist rebels are more active in those areas; however, we would like to go there, too. So please continue to pray for those conflicted areas and our evangelism team.
